CERTPOINT - Vuepoint Wins Two Web-Based Training User Choice Awards

LONG ISLAND, N.Y., April 19, 2001 – Vuepoint, a comprehensive e-learning company with a business-savvy approach, was named Best in Class in two categories Wednesday at the Web-Based Training (WBT) Producer User Choice 2001 Awards, which recognize the best tools and technologies for developing and managing e-learning.
Products from Vuepoint’s Learning System (VLS) 2.0 suite were nominated in five of the six categories and won two of the dozen awards presented based on judging by active users of online learning tools. Vuepoint was recognized in the Authoring Tools and Learning Management Systems categories by earning the highest average score based on expectations, implementation, impact and overall satisfaction. Authoring tools are used to create asynchronous Web-based learning content and/or courses. Learning Management Systems (LMS) are used to manage courseware delivery, track learner performance and skill development, allow access to courses, etc.
